COURSE DESCRIPTION: A scenic course nestled in the foothills above Herriman City and Blackridge reservoir. 406’ of elevation gain in the first 1.5 miles makes this race both fun and challenging for beginners, and offers a good test of speed for the more experienced trail runner!
The terrain is moderately technical, and is run on a double wide trail with adequate room for passing and navigating the rocks and roots. There is one aid station at 1.5 miles stocked with water and sports drink. You’ll want to take a second or two to take in the breathtaking view of the Salt Lake Valley at the summit of this course!
A “must have” race shirt and finisher medals are waiting to earned by you! (WHAT?! A finishers medal for a 5k….Heck Yeah, we know you want it!)
Early Packet Pickup - Friday May 18th at RunGr8 Running Center (12600 S. 2608 W. Riverton, Ut) from 10am-7pm.
Race Day Packet Pickup - Saturday May 19th at Blackridge Reservoir (15800 S. Ashland Ridge Dr. (5390 W.) Herriman, Ut) from 7am-7:30am. *Race starts promptly at 8am*
***You may pick up your friends/families packets if necessary but make sure they are aware of you doing so***
***If you do raceday pickup, allow yourself enough time to arrive and pickup your packet and be ready for race start time of 8am***
DIRECTIONS TO START:
From I-15 take Bangerter Highway exit Westbound
Exit Bangerter Highway onto 13400 So West bound
Turn left entering onto Mountain View Corridor Southbound
Exit Mountain View onto Rosecrest Road
Turn Left on Juniper Crest Road
Turn right on Emmeline
Turn left on Ashland Ridge Drive and arrive at Blackridge Reservoir
